Boti Curry (Spicy)
Ingredients
- Spices Cinnamon 2 pieces, Cardamoms 2, Cloves 4-5
- Onions 1 chopped
- Ginger/garlic paste 1 tsp
- Curry leaves 2 stalks (chopped)
- Coriander leaves ยฝ bunch (chopped)
- Coriander seed powder 1 Tbsp
- Turmeric ยฝ tsp
- Chillie powder 1ยฝ tsp
- Green chillies 3 nos.
- Tomatoes 3 nos (cut into 1 inch pieces)
- Lime 1 no.
- Oil 2 tbs
Instructions
- Add the onions to oil and let it fry. Add spices, then ginger/garlic paste and let it fry.
- Add turmeric and chillie powder and let it fry
- Add coriander seed powder and let it fry
- Add green chillies and tomatoes. Let it fry for some time.
- Add the boiled Boti and salt to taste and give it 4-5 whistles in the cooker.
- If the curry has too much of gravy, leave it to dry without the cooker cover.
- Add lime juice finally.
