Liver Fry
Ingredients
- Liver ยผ kg (cut into chunky pieces)
- Methi leaves 2 bundles
- Spices 2 cardamom, 3 cloves and 1 inch piece cinnamon
- Onions 1 (minced)
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
- Turmeric ยฝ tsp
- Chillie powder 1 tsp
- Tomatoes 2 nos.
- Green chillies 2 (1 inch pieces)
- Coriander ยฝ bundle
- Dill (Soy ka bhaji) ยฝ bundle (about 3 tsp)
- Oil 2 Tbsp
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Cut up the methi leaves, wash thoroughly and keep aside.
- Cut up the onions, green chillies, Tomatoes, coriander and dill and keep aside.
- Heat the oil in a cooker and add the methi leaves. Fry for 30 seconds on medium heat. Add the spices.
- Add the onions and fry till light pink. Then add the ginger garlic paste. Fry for a minute on low flame. Add green chillies.
- Add the chillie powder and turmeric powder.
- Now add the chopped tomatoes, coriander and salt. Fry till the tomatoes turn pulpy.
- Add the liver and dill. Add a cup of water. Close the lid of the cooker and cook for 5-6 whistles.
