Palak & Meat
Palak/Spinach and meat is a house favourite. Simple and delicious.
Ingredients
- Meat ยผ kg
- Palak (spinach) 5-7 bundles
- Methi leaves 2 bundles
- Green chillies 2 (cut into an inch)
- Coriander leaves ยฝ bunch
- Onion 1 chopped
- Tomatoes 2-3 chopped
- Chilli powder ยพ tsp
- Turmeric ยฝ tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
- Oil 3 Tbsp (a little extra is better or else the curry turns dry)
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Cut the methi leaves, wash thoroughly and keep aside to drain out the water
- Wash the meat and keep it aside.
- Heat the oil in a pressure cooker. Once it gets hot, add the methi leaves and fry for 30 seconds.
- Add the chopped onion to the oil and fry for some time.
- To this add the ginger garlic paste and fry for a minute. Add the green chillies and fry.
- Add the chilli powder and turmeric powder.
