Crab Fry

Ingredients

For marination

  • Crabs 1 kg (washed thoroughly and keep to drain out excess water)
  • Ginger garlic paste 2-3 tsp
  • Chillie powder 2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Salt 1ยฝ tsp
  • Oil 1 Tbsp (for marination of the crabs)
  • Vinegar 2 Tbsp

For frying

  • Oil 1 cup (for deep frying)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the crabs with all the marination ingredients. Keep it aside for a minimum of half an hour for the ingredients to get into the crabs.
  2. Add the oil to a deep kadai/wok and let it get hot.
  3. Gradually add the crabs into the oil and fry on both sides. It should be ready in 10 minutes of frying.
  4. Remove the crabs from the oil and keep it on a kitchen towel to drain off the excess oil.
