Tomato Chutney
Ingredients
- Tomatoes 5-6
- Garlic 2-3 pods
- Mustard seeds ยฝ tsp
- Curry leaves 2 stalks
- Dry chillies 2
- Chillie powder ยฝ tsp
- Oil 1 Tbsp
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Grind tomatoes, garlic and salt in the mixie to a smooth paste (do not add water).
- Heat the oil in a kadai and add mustard seeds.
- After it begins to splutter, add the curry leaves and then the dry chillies (let the flame be low).
- Add the chili powder and a little salt to taste.
- Finally add the ground tomatoes to the seasoning and let it cook till it thickens lightly.
