Dosakai Chutney (Yellow Cucumber)

Ingredients

  • Dosakai ยฝ kg
  • Cumin powder ยฝ tsp
  • Mustard powder ยฝ tsp
  • Chili powder 2 tsp
  • Methi powder 1 pinch
  • Curry leaves 2 stalks
  • Dry red chili 3-4
  • Cumin seeds ยฝ tsp
  • Mustard seeds ยฝ tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 2 Tbsp

Instructions

  1. Cut the dosakai into small pieces and keep aside.
  2. In a kadai, heat the oil and add the seeds. Let it fry till it splutters.
  3. Add the curry leaves and dry chillies.
  4. Then add the chili powder.
  5. Add the dosakai, jeera, rai powders and salt.
  6. Let it fry till tender and then remove from fire.
