Boti Curry (Spicy)

Ingredients

  • Spices Cinnamon 2 pieces, Cardamoms 2, Cloves 4-5
  • Onions 1 chopped
  • Ginger/garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves 2 stalks (chopped)
  • Coriander leaves ยฝ bunch (chopped)
  • Coriander seed powder 1 Tbsp
  • Turmeric ยฝ tsp
  • Chillie powder 1ยฝ tsp
  • Green chillies 3 nos.
  • Tomatoes 3 nos (cut into 1 inch pieces)
  • Lime 1 no.
  • Oil 2 tbs

Instructions

  1. Add the onions to oil and let it fry. Add spices, then ginger/garlic paste and let it fry.
  2. Add turmeric and chillie powder and let it fry
  3. Add coriander seed powder and let it fry
  4. Add green chillies and tomatoes. Let it fry for some time.
  5. Add the boiled Boti and salt to taste and give it 4-5 whistles in the cooker.
  6. If the curry has too much of gravy, leave it to dry without the cooker cover.
  7. Add lime juice finally.
